Some Moks and lamas wear traditional robes. Buddhists wear brownish tannish cloaks.

How are gangs unified??

The gangs have two colors but usually they all have black so they wear the opposite to show which gang they represent. Gangs also have different symbols they use, same color bandanna as their shirt, and special words or abbreviations. There is certain things you have to do to get jumped into a gang, like usually there is a leader and he will give you certain things to do. But they all will usually have the same attitude and just act the same. If not then bad stuff will happen to that person. Even though your on the streets you still got rules for how to stick with your family (gang).

Why do people join gangs??

People join gangs because they think its cool. They want to show people that they're tough and maybe don't mess around. Some people might also do it because that's how they get their anger to go away. Or maybe they're just bullies and like to beat up people or kill them. But I think most of all the real reason is they want to be noticed for something and if joining a gang is the only way then I guess that's what they will do.
